Planit Energy entered this space in the fall of 2011. Our mission was to complete an Energy Saving Analysis (ESA) for 2 sport complexes (Dr. Pepper Sport Centers). The project would be a complete retro-fit of the facilities (interior/exterior) with energy efficient/ long life span LED devices. Our mission for the project as defined by Jim Lites, President|CEO of the Dallas Stars was very straightforward; improve energy efficiency, increase luminosity, elimination the shadow effect on the ice and reduce replacement/maintenance cost with a rapid return on investment (ROI). 

 

LED devices used:

 

* LED High bays 364 watts with bi-level switching 

 

* LED Tube lighting (4 ft. and 8 ft.)

 

* LED Shoe box lighting (interior/exterior) with bi-level switching

*LED Slim-line Round (SLR) series

 

* LED Corn Cob 360 degree beam angle
